Black and White Salsa Charity Night 17 June 2008

We would like to invite you, and as many guests as you wish to bring, to a charity salsa event at Quid Pro Quo, Greek Street, in the heart of Leeds city centre.

The night will begin with a fun salsa class designed for absolute beginners starting at 7.30pm. Followed by an intermediate class at 8.30pm and then music and dancing for everyone until late. Each class is only £5.00 and all proceeds from the salsa classes will be donated to Cash for Kids. The theme for the night is ‘black and white,’ so have fun and get dressed up!

About Cash for Kids

Cash for Kids, Leeds (registered charity number 1119842) is the new name for 96.3 Radio Aire‘s charity and the good news is that even more money will be winging its way into our charity funds here in West Yorkshire.

All of the charities in our group – there are 19 across the UK, all based in radio stations – will go under the Cash For Kids banner in a bid to increase our funding for local children by having one nationally recognised brand.

In addition, Sir Tom Hunter has given his backing to Cash For Kids and has pledged £4million over the next ten years. The cash will be used to underwrite 50% of the running costs of the charities including Radio Aire.

Radio Aire‘s Cash for Kids relies on the generosity of local businesses, listeners and the community to raise thousands of pounds to benefit sick, disabled and underprivileged children in West Yorkshire – to get involved call Ros on 0113 283 5555

This family friendly venue is perfect for salsa; plenty of free car parking, a separate entrance to the front and a separate bar and lounge area - a bonus -  drinks are unbelievably cheap. The floor is wooden and more importantly there is a powerful air conditioning system.

St Paul's Street or around Park Square - a short walk from Quid Pro Quo
